A digital photo of two dead Tilapia on shoreline mudcakes at the Salton Sea in Southern California. Unfortunately, dead Tilapia are a "signature" of the slowly dying sea--the largest body of water in California. Rising salinity will eventually make the sea uninhabitable to all fishes.
About Stephanie Salter
Since retiring from ICU/Open Heart nursing, I have become more involved in our photography business, Digital Images, which I manage with my husband, David a biologist. We share a love of photography and all the travel and excitement of finding that “special” photo. We now spend our time photographing the grandeur of the Southwest. Our old jeep takes us to remote places where nature has been less disturbed by human interaction.
